Shelled ceasefire: three Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the ATO zone

Militants attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbass seven times in the past 24 hours, with three Ukrainian soldiers reported as killed in action and another four as wounded in action, according to the press center of the Ukrainian Anti-Terrorist Operation Headquarters.

“Unfortunately, among our servicemen there are losses again. Three Ukrainian servicemen were killed, another three soldiers were wounded and one serviceman was injured”, - reads the report.

Occupation forces were reported shelling the Ukrainian positions near the village of Novoluhanske for an hour and a half, using grenade launchers, machine guns, and mortars of various calibers.

The shelling had an aiming character and posed an immediate threat to the life and health of Ukrainian soldiers, so the Armed Forces had to open return fire.
