More than 50 people were convicted on charges of committing crimes in the sphere of terrorism in Ukraine in the first half of 2017. UNN reports this with reference to the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine.

The official statistics provides that according to articles (258-258.5 of the Criminal Code - Ed.), which provide for the crime in the sphere of terrorism, 55 people were convicted, 5 more were acquitted.

In the first half of 2017, 392 proceedings against 924 people were submitted to courts. In the first half of the year, 192 cases were examined.
