Ukrainian hostages, released from CDDLO, will undergo a test for possible hooking by the Russian Federation. This was reported in an interview to Interfax-Ukraine by head of the SBU Vasyl Hrytsak, - LB.ua reports.

"Yes, of course, we will question them regarding the circumstances of their imprisonment. There is such a concept as debriefing, and we will definitely hold it… We understand full well that in relation to our servicemen, and to all citizens of Ukraine, who are or were in captivity, not only physical and psychological pressure is carried out, but hooking as well", - he said.

The most famous case of such alleged hooking is Colonel Ivan Bezyazykov. He was captured in Stepanivka of the Donetsk oblast on August 16, 2014. According to him, he went there for the bodies of deceased. The military officer was released from captivity on July 5, 2016 as a result of special operation of the SBU. Six months later, he was detained on suspicion of high treason.

The indictment notes that from August 25, 2014 to May 27, 2015, being on the territory beyond Ukraine's control, Bezyazykov was the so-called Deputy Chief of the Intelligence Directorate of the "DNR". He was engaged in collecting intelligence deliverables about the movement of Ukrainian military units and participated in the conduct of information operations to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Bezyazykov does not plead guilty to the charged offences.
