Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oleksandr Danylyuk has demanded the resignation of Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko. Danylyuk stated this during a briefing on December 21, - 112.ua reports with reference to Ukrayinski Novyny.

"Accidental meeting of Yuriy Lutsenko with Ihor Kolomoyskyi on the eve of trial in England raises many questions. Furthermore, the prosecutor general discredited himself by attacking new anti-corruption bodies and inability to bring important cases to court. In this way, he discredits the president and the parliament, which has entrusted to him such an important role and function, as well as power in general, in the face of international partners. So he must resign, I demand his resignation", - Danylyuk stated.

Oleksandr Danylyuk was appointed to the Cabinet of Ministers by quota of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc.
