Ukraine was included into the list of countries with the highest level of organized crime and took 113th place out of 137 positions. This is evidenced by the data of ranking, compiled by experts of the World Economic Forum, - RBC-Ukraine reports.

Ukraine entered the ranking with a score of 3.9, what is almost double the score of Finland, where the level of organized crime is considered to be the lowest in the world. Thus, in the group of countries with the highest level of organized crime, Ukraine was close to the states of South, Latin America and Africa.

The ranking was headed by El Salvador, Honduras and Venezuela. According to the ranking data, organized crime has the lowest level of influence in Finland, Norway and Oman.

The experts compiled the rating, based on the data for 2015-2016. Countries were graded from 1 to 7, where 1 - significant influence of organized crime, 7 - lack of influence.

As previously reported, in the first half of 2017, the Ministry of Internal Affairs discovered 109 organized crime groups. "109 illegal organized crime groups and 422 people within them were discovered in the first half of this year. The number of crimes, committed by the organized crime group remains stable. There were slightly more than 1300 crimes in the past year, the year before and in the current year. However, given that the data for the 2017th is information within only six months, it turns out that the number of crimes has doubled", - former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs noted.
