The representative of the "DNR" at the negotiations in Minsk, "the head of the People's Council" Denis Pushilin said that the Minsk Agreements provided for "the integration of the Donbass into Russia" on the air of one of the separatist TV channels.

"Integration of the Donbass into the Russian Federation is quite understandable for us, that's why we went out with the flags of this country in 2014, because we counted on support. That is, we have already had some kind of interaction. Well, now we need closer and more intensive interaction", - Pushilin said.

He stated that "the opponents immediately saw this as a violation of the Minsk agreements".

"On the contrary, it is not the first time that we are ahead of our commitments. The law on special status, free interaction with the regions of the Russian Federation is recorded in the Minsk agreements... The more Kyiv does not fulfill (Minsk agreements - Ed.), the more we move back, the abyss gets deeper", - one of the leaders of the "DNR" said.

He regards as one of the manifestations of the "integration" of the Donbass into the Russian Federation the appearance on the Ukrainian territory of Russians who "were ready to put their lives to defend the interests of the Russian world". "This is absolutely clear for us and for them. Now integration is moving to a new stage: cultural, social. Trade unions, mutual visits of specialists, medical forums", - he said.

First of all, the Minsk agreements provide for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine by providing the temporarily occupied territories of the Donbass with status of "districts with special order of local self-government". As for local elections, according to the Minsk agreements, they should be conducted according to the Ukrainian legislation. Signatures, including one of the "head of the DNR" Alexander Zakharchenko, are present under all documents signed in Minsk. Such concepts of the "DNR" or "LNR", as well as any posts of the "heads of republics", do not appear in the Minsk documents at all.
