The OSCE special monitoring mission to Ukraine recorded 3,286 violations of the ceasefire in the Donbass last week. The first deputy head of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine Alexander Hug said this today at a briefing in Kyiv, OstroV’s correspondent reports.

"Last week, the OSCE SMM recorded 3,266 violations of the ceasefire regime, all of which were committed by the parties who pledged not to carry out such violations any more", - he said.

"As practice and our warnings show in each case, escalation is inevitable, we've seen the escalation before, and warned about it in advance. We monitored and reported facts that pointed to the danger, and each time these warnings were ignored", - Hug said.

According to him, as long as the forces and resources remain on the spot, the violence will only increase.

"It's time to admit the facts, time to face the truth", - the first deputy head of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine said.
