The OSCE mission registered an increase in the number of violations of the state of ceasefire in the Donbass by 45%

The number of violations of the state of ceasefire in the Donbass has been significantly increased compared to the previous week. This was said at a briefing in Kyiv today by the first deputy head of the OSCE SMM Alexander Hug, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"Last week, the OSCE SMM to Ukraine registered 3335 violations of the state of ceasefire, what is 45% more than the previous week", - he noted.

According to him, such an increase is a reflection of the general trend that the observers of the OSCE SMM have been fixing since the beginning of September.

"After the parties resumed their commitments to observe the state of ceasefire from August 25, there was a decrease in the number of registered violations of the state of ceasefire, but from that moment on, the figures have been steadily increasing", - Hug noted.

He also added that until now, heavy weapons and too close position of the parties are being fixed. "For example, last week, we registered 55 weapons, located with violation of the line of demarcation: 26 - in government-controlled areas and 29 - in areas which are beyond the control", - the first deputy head of the OSCE SMM said.

In particular, according to him, apart from other equipment, the OSCE SMM unmanned aerial vehicles registered five artillery cannons and three "Rapira" guns in Novoselivka, which is controlled by the so-called "DNR". Moreover, according to him, in the government-controlled Oleksandropil, the unmanned aerial vehicle of the OSCE SMM registered 20 artillery cannons.
