Poland vows to ban coal supplies from the occupied Donbass - Nasalyk

Polish Energy Minister Krzysztof Tchorzewski assured that the authorities would probe into coal supplies from the areas of Donbass temporarily occupied by Russian proxy forces and further such supplies would be banned, Ukrainian Energy Minister Ihor Nasalyk said, according to 112 Ukraina TV channel.

"When we met with the minister, we noted this issue, and we received assurances that a full-fledged probe would be carried out and that such supplies would be banned. I managed to meet with the journalist who published the first part of the investigation (there will be the second and third parts) related to the supply of anthracite from the occupied parts of Donbass not only to Poland, but also to other European countries. So now, the main task is to ultimately block this process", - Nasalyk said.

The Minister also noted that the purchase of anthracite in the occupied Donbass is a "direct financing of terrorism".

Earlier in the media there was information that the anthracite from CDDLO was semi-legal transferred to Poland, and the leader of the terrorist “LNR” Igor Plotnitsky received the profit from this.

Earlier Polish Energy Minister Krzysztof Tchorzewski confirmed that coal extracted in the occupied part of the Ukrainian Donbass had actually arrived in Poland.
