President Petro Poroshenko will introduce two bills on the Donbass to the Verkhovna Rada. This was reported to Ukrainska Pravda by sources in the presidential administration.

"There will be two bills: one is on the Donbass reintegration, the second is on freezing (extension - OstroV) of the law on peculiarities of local self-government in the Donbass for the year", - the interlocutor said. He expressed the hope that both projects will be introduced on Wednesday.

According to the interlocutor, the law on reintegration "was about to happen long ago and is an opportunity to be honest with ourselves, because the war, not ATO, is on long ago".

He added that at the same time, the continuation of the law on special order of local self-government in the Donbass will allow further diplomatic negotiations.

The first vice-speaker of the parliament Iryna Herashchenko withheld comments to confirm or deny this information. "I will give all comments on this matter after the introduction", - she said and added that she is in Minsk, where the tripartite group meeting is to be held.

As previously reported, representative of Ukraine in the tripartite contact group Olha Aivazovska stated on the air of ZIK channel that if the law on special order of local self-government in the Donbass is not extended, then Ukraine may face serious problems with the sanctions package in Russia. On October 18, the law "On special order of local self-government in certain districts of the Donetsk and the Luhansk oblasts", which was adopted for three years in September 2014, comes to an end. "Unless it is prolonged, I think that serious problems will appear in Ukraine, at least with a sanctions package in the Russian Federation, holding negotiations both in the Minsk and Normandy formats", - Aivazovska is sure. In particular, according to the guest of program, this law is the basis, starting from which it is possible to hold any negotiations. "We can extend it for a year to provide a basis for communication on the UN peacekeepers, lethal weapons and negotiations in various formats. They has finally begun to work now, especially bilateral Russia-USA in our favor", - Aivazovska stated.

Earlier, deputy head of the Presidential Administration Kostiantyn Yelisieiev told the deputies on Tuesday that the bill on the Donbass reintegration will be introduced to the parliament by the president on Wednesday.
