The broken line: Donbass was left without Vodafone-Ukraine mobile communication

Difficulties with mobile communication Vodafone (MTS) are observed in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. This is stated in the report of the mobile phone operator.

The fiber-optic communication line break was named as a cause of malfunctions.

"Technical specialists are working to resolve the situation, given the circumstances that arise due to reasons beyond our control, we ask you to understand the possible limitations of mobile communication. We will inform you in a timely manner about the situation with communication", - the statement says.

As OstroV's readers report, problems with mobile communication are observed both in the controlled territory of the Donbass and in the zone of Russian occupation.

Earlier it was reported that the militants stole equipment of Kyivstar and Lifecell operators and launched its own mobile operators on its basis. Technical capabilities and legal status of these operators do not allow them to establish a normal coverage and provide subscribers with modern functions.
