Groysman promised to resign in case of failure of the pension reform

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman stated that he is ready to resign from his post, if he fails to carry out pension reform. He said this on the air of 112.Ukraine television channel, - Economichna Pravda reports.

"From October 1, 5 million 620 thousand Ukrainian pensioners will receive an increased pension, and quite substantial. If I do not do this, please, I am ready to resign then", - V.Groysman said.

At the same time, he expressed confidence that nevertheless, the Verkhovna Rada will support the pension reform, and the Cabinet of Ministers will be able to implement it.

"I know that we will do it together with the coalition and the president. We will agree on these decisions, they will be signed by the president, and we will implement them", - the prime minister noted.
