Zakharchenko continues to ignore the Minsk agreements: "there will be no Ukrainian elections in the "DNR"

The leader of the "DNR" Alexander Zakharchenko, who supports the Minsk agreements in word, continues to state that the fake republic is an independent state and does not intend to obey the laws of Ukraine. The militant's comment concerning the hypothetic early elections to the Verkhovna Rada and of the President of Ukraine contains another statement that contradicts "Minsk".

"These are the internal affairs of another state… We will not allow pretending that the elections of the president of the former Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada are being held in our territory… We will prove to the whole world that there will be no Ukrainian elections in our territory", - the leader of the "DNR" stated over and over again.

"So, Kyiv will have to choose either to recognize that the elections take place on the part of territory that they consider their own and, accordingly, to recognize their power as limitedly legitimate, or recognize the "DNR" and the "LNR" and then hold elections "on the whole territory", but only of their own state – without us", - the terrorist said.

As it was reported, the Minsk agreements, first of all, provide for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine by providing the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass with the status of "districts with a special order of the local self-government". There are signatures, including the puppet ruler of the "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko, under all documents, signed in Minsk. Concepts of the "DNR" or the "LNR", as well as the names of any posts of the "heads of republics", do not appear in the Minsk documents at all.
