The U.S. Senate's "Bill on the USA budget for national security" provides for the allocation of $500 million to support the defence of Ukraine. This was reported by the President of Ukraine on Twitter.

According to the head of state, the draft law authorizes the provision of defensive lethal weapons to our country.

"For the first time at the legislative level, it is proposed to provide Ukraine with such defensive means: radar air defence and surface surveillance, naval countermine equipment, ships of coastal and coast guard", - the President of Ukraine wrote.

The bill will become the law after signing by the President of the USA Donald Trump.
