Zakharchenko continues to ignore Minsk agreements: "there will be no Ukrainian elections in the "DNR"

The leader of the "DNR" Alexander Zakharchenko, who supports the Minsk agreements in words, continues to claim that the fake republic is an independent state and does not intend to obey the laws of Ukraine. His yet another statement that contradicts the Minsk agreements, was made while commenting on the hypothetical early elections to the Verkhovna Rada and the President of Ukraine.

"These are the internal affairs of another state... We will not allow to pretend that the elections of the president of the former Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada are held in our territory... We will prove to the whole world that there will be no Ukrainian elections in our territory", - the leader of the "DNR" said.

"So, Kyiv will have to choose either to recognize that its power is limitedly legitimate, or to recognize the "DNR" and "LNR" and then hold elections in their own state and without us", - the terrorist said.

As reported, the Minsk agreements, first of all, provide for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine by providing the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass with the status of "districts with a special order of local self-government". Alexander Zakharchenko’s signatures are under all documents signed in Minsk. Such concepts of the "DNR" or "LNR", as well as the posts of the "heads of republics", are not mentioned in the Minsk documents at all.
