"Customs officials" of the unrecognized "LNR" stated that they stopped the contraband of a large batch of cigarettes from the "DNR" to Russia. This is stated in the report of the so-called "State Customs Committee".

"A car without license plate and documents relating to the vehicle, driven by a twenty-one-year-old resident of Krasnodon, was stopped. "Tobacco products… 47 boxes (23 500 packs of cigarettes) were found. There are also no documents for the product", - it says.

It is paradoxically that, according to the information of the "committee", an attempt was made to illegally import cigarettes, produced in Russia and Belarus, to Russia, which were previously illegally imported to the occupied territory of the Donetsk oblast.

"The goods were brought from the Donetsk People's Republic and were prepared for the illegal trafficking across the state border to the Russian Federation", - the "customs officials" assure.

The point of smuggling Russian cigarettes to the territory of Russia through the territory of the "DNR" was not explained in the "LNR".
