The leader of the "LNR" Igor Plotnitsky has stated that during the inventory of the housing stock, several thousands of empty apartments were revealed, where people who "require housing" will live. He said this at the meeting with his subordinates.

"You know that we carried out an inventory of the housing stock. As a result, several thousands of empty apartments were revealed, I will not name the exact figure so as not to disturb anyone", — he said.

Plotnitsky instructed "to study this issue in further detail", to find out the condition the vacant housing.

"After that, we will announce how many empty apartments are really there. A special commission will be created, and after that, we will distribute these apartments, we will allow people to live in them. Because the vacant apartments mean that an accommodation payment is not being paid, nothing is being paid. We have people who need and look for housing", — he said.

As OstroV earlier reported, Igor Plotnitsky instructed to identify the vacant apartments in the occupied territory of Luhansk oblast. "What I want is: give me an inventory of all our houses. A report with the signature of the head of the housing office: how many houses are there, how many tenants live in each house, is there an escheat fund, the houses' condition, utilities debts. The information should be brief to make our own database", - he said. At the same time, he set deadlines for fulfilling his "order" - until the end of July in Luhansk and until mid-August in the Luhansk oblast.
