The number of people, who died from hypothermia, increased up to 4 in Donetsk region as of January 14th. It is reported by the press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

"137 cases of hypothermia have been recorded in the region as of 01.14.2016, 104 people were hospitalized, 29 refused to be hospitalized, 4 people died," - said the statement.

Three deaths were reported as of January 13th.

There are 150 points for heating of the population on the territory of Donetsk region, 143 of them are fixed points of local governments, 7 are portable tents of points for heating MD SE of Ukraine in the region.

Such heat stations are established within the checkpoints along the contact line in Donetsk region, in particular in Zaitsevo (Artemovsk district), Pishchevik (Volnovakha district), Novotroitskoye (Volnovakha district), Kurakhovo (Maryenka district).

These heat stations are aimed to create adequate sanitation and living conditions, provide health care and prevent hypothermia in case of complications of weather conditions.

There are also mobile heat stations in Mariupol (Zhovtnevyi district, Shevchenko Boulevard, near Brusnytsya shop), Slavyansk (October Revolution Square, behind the building of the executive committee) and Artemivsk (23 Sibirtsiva Str., in front of DPRCH-69).

People can keep warm, drink hot tea, as well as get warm clothing and medical ais if needed in such points. 101 rescue service officers are 24- hour on duty in each tent.

If needed the number of mobile heat substation will to be increased.
