Ukraine will not allow revision of the Minsk agreements on the resolution of the situation in Donbass. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at a press conference in Kiev, - reports the correspondent of OstroV.

Poroshenko said that the main priority for 2016 was to return Ukrainian sovereignty to occupied Donbass.

"Restoration of the Ukrainian sovereignty over the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions should take place in 2016. The fight for occupied Crimea remains a priority on the agenda. We will offer an international mechanism for de-occupation of the peninsula. The optimal format for the creation of such a mechanism, in my opinion, is the format of Geneva plus with our partners from the European Union, the United States and possibly the countries signatories of the Budapest Memorandum", - said the President.

"I plan to solve such highly complex tasks as the return of Crimea and Donbass, first and foremost by political and diplomatic means. We will not allow revision of the Minsk agreements", - concluded he.
