Displaced residents rally under the Verkhovna Rada for compensation of lost housing in the Donbass (PHOTO)

Several dozen displaced residents and representatives of public organizations are holding a rally under the walls of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, OstroV’s correspondent reports.

Their main requirement is to develop and adopt a mechanism for realizing the rights of victims of armed conflict in the East of Ukraine for housing.

They also require the adoption of a soft loan program, the harmonization of discriminatory norms of by-laws that restrict the rights of displaced residents.

Yesterday, on September 4, similar rally was held under the walls of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
