"Where is the compensation?". Displaced persons began the fight for their rights by picketing the Cabinet of Ministers (PHOTO)

Several dozens of displaced persons and representatives of non-governmental organizations are picketing the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

They demand drafting a special law on compensation for victims of the armed conflict in Ukraine and the aggression of the Russian Federation, establishing mechanisms for the implementation of rights of victims of the armed conflict to shelter, concessional lending, the harmonization of discriminatory norms of delegated legislation and those that restrict the rights of displaced persons.

The activists also want to oblige local administrations launching regional programs for support, social adaptation and reintegration of the displaced persons.

According to the organizers, protest campaigns will be systemic and will continue tomorrow near the Verkhovna Rada.
