Officials purchased equipment for the state mine in Volyn in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk oblast. This was stated in a press release of the SBU.

It is noted that investigators documented that one of the heads of the state enterprise "Directorate for the Construction of Objects", who is a native of the temporarily occupied territories, bought equipment from the so-called "DNR" for $980 thousand. $24 thousand from the state budget were additionally spent for its adaptation to the real needs of the mine.

The purchase became possible after the official colluded with the tender participants. He formed competitive bids directly under a specific supplier, despite the fact that the equipment technically did not meet the project of mine modernization.

In addition, the management of the supplier plant, re-registered in the Dnipropetrovsk oblast, provided deliberately false information about the absence of tax debt to the budget and the fact that the owner of the enterprise is a Russian citizen.

One of the heads of the state enterprise and the head of competitive bidding were served with charge papers for committing a crime under part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation is still in process.

The report does not specify how the equipment was transported through the contact line and delivered to Volyn.
