Militants has opened fire at the houses of civilians in Zaitseve during the work of representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross on Wednesday, August 16, press centre of the ATO headquarters reports.

It is noted that in the Donetsk direction, the militants, having violated the cease-fire during the work of representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross, have opened fire at the residential houses in Zaitseve yesterday. A fire started almost immediately.

The militants fired at Ukrainian soldiers, who came to help the locals to put out the fire, as well. "Our fighters, realizing that the enemy purposefully provokes confrontation, did not return fire, since civilians live and representatives of the humanitarian organization work in the occupied part of the village", - the statement said.
