Woman shot, man injured in brawl between civilians and military servicemen

"On Wednesday Popasnyansky police department reported that civilians were hospitalized, a man with a gunshot wound to the right leg, caused by an unknown person and a woman with gunshot wounds, who died in the hospital from the injuries she received. According to preliminary data, the incident occurred because of routine dispute between military personnel of one of the divisions of Ukraine’s Army and civilians", - the report said.

Information on this fact is included in the Single Register of Pre-trial Investigations on the basis of the elements of the crime.

The HQ note that criminal proceedings were opened and police investigates possible motives of the crime.

"The command of the ATO expresses its deep condolences to the family of the deceased and will take measures to ensure an objective conduct of the investigation", - the statement said.
