An uncontrolled process of flooding of the Ukrainian anthracite mines, seized by militants, began in the Donbass. This was stated by the Deputy Minister for Temporary Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine Heorhiy Tuka on the air of 5 Channel, RBK-Ukraina reports.

"The notorious "blockade" led to that we lost control of about 50 enterprises. All anthracite mines were stopped and an uncontrolled flooding began", - Tuka said.

According to him, he often receives reports about such incidents in the territory of the CDDLO.

"Yesterday I received a such a report, sometimes I receive them even twice a week", - the deputy minister said.

He also added that competitive enterprises were taken under the control of "companies that belong to Kurchenko".

Earlier, the Minister for Temporary Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine Vadym Chernysh stated that there was a critical situation with the flooded mines in the uncontrolled territories of Donbass. He called for environmental monitoring in the Donbass as soon as possible in order to identify the main problems in the short term, as well as to implement measures aimed at restoring the ecological sphere in the east of Ukraine.
