Yesterday during the plenary session, the highest qualifying commission of judges of Ukraine approved the rating of 320 candidates for the positions of judges of the Supreme Court, - commission’s website reported.

It is noted that 120 people became winners of the competition, among whom there are judges, lawyers, scientists and specialists with combined experience.

"Among the winners of the competition there are professors and teachers of higher educational institutions, a volunteer judge who defended Donetsk airport, human rights defenders with experience in the European Court of Human Rights, lawyers who received education in leading international universities. I hope that soon they will become new faces of the Ukrainian justice", - the chairman of the highest qualifying commission of judges Serhiy Koziakov said.

At the same time, representative of the "Reanimation package of reforms" organization Mykhailo Zhernakov notes that "30 out of 120, that is exactly 25% of the "winners of the competition" are dishonest".

"Before the rating was announced today, 76 out of 319 candidates (23.82%) were dishonest, that is, if the winners were chosen by chance and not by the commission, the result would be better", - he wrote in Facebook.
