The procession of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate is held in Kyiv on the occasion of the Christianization of Kievan Rus holiday, - OstroV’s correspondent reports.

The procession will move from the Saint Volodymyr Hill to the Kyivv-Pechersk Lavra.

About 5-7 thousand people take part in it.

The heads of the procession are the head of the UOC-MP Metropolitan Onuphriy, as well as people's deputies from the Opposition bloc Mykhailo Dobkin, Vadym Novinsky, Oleksandr Vilkul, Yuriy Boyko.

3000 police officers were involved to protect public order during the procession.
