According to the US President, the sabotage of election campaign was aimed at promoting Hillary Clinton's candidacy in the presidential election. He also requires the US Attorney General to investigate.

As previously reported, the former adviser to the Democratic Party Alexandra Chalupa denies her collaboration with Ukrainian officials to collect compromising information on the ex-head of the election headquarters of Donald Trump - Paul Manafort.

The New York Times, which was earlier loyal to the Democratic Party, wrote that Russia's interference in the US election cannot be compared with the possible cooperation between Clinton and Ukraine, because, unlike the Kremlin, Kyiv is not an enemy for Washington.
