The Regulatory Committee showed a film about the corruption of Rosenblat in the amber case

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office released video materials concerning involvement in the amber mining bribery of MP Boryslav Rosenblat.

"Taking into account the significant public interest, NABU and SAPO are publishing video materials that were demonstrated during the meeting of the Committee on Rules of Procedure and organization of the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine devoted to considering the idea of ​​removing the immunity, bringing to criminal responsibility and arresting Boryslav Rosenblat. He is involved in the corruption scheme associated with the organization of illegal mining and sale of amber", - the report said.

The video footage was obtained by the detectives of the NABU under the procedural supervision of prosecutors by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of secret investigative actions that were conducted in compliance with the requirements of the current legislation within the framework of an investigation of criminal proceedings commenced on the basis of the crimes provided by Part 2 of Art. 240, Part 4 of Art. 368, Part 2 of Art. 369, Part 3 of Art. 28, Part 3 of Art. 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As previously reported, on June 19, the detectives of the NABU, under the procedural leadership of the SAPO prosecutors, detained 7 people involved in obtaining undue benefits for assisting a foreign company in carrying out amber mining in Ukraine. According to the investigation, the crime was committed with the participation of people's deputies of Ukraine. The probable involvement of Maksym Polyakov and Boryslav Rosenblat is now established. This operation was carried out in cooperation with the FBI.

On June 21, 2017, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a proposal of ​ bringing to criminal responsibility, the detention and arrest of two MPs Polyakov and Rosenblat.
