Plants and mines are being systematically destroyed in the occupied part of the Donetsk oblast. This was told by the creator of the "Vostok" terrorist battalion Alexander Khodakovskiy in the social network.

He suggests that such an attitude towards the heavy industry of the occupied region may be due to the fact that it, preferably in the weakened form, will be returned to Ukraine.

"Then it is understandable why some higher state dignitaries of the DPR spread rumors that they are given a suggestion to put down the industrial capacity of Donbass. As I understand, it is in order the enemy will not get it…", Khodakovsky writes.

He reminds that the "DPR" is systematically destroying enterprises. "Well, I understand the remains of the completely bombed-out airport. But the same Oktyabrskaya mine was scuttled, taking everything that can be sold, scrapping entire components and assemblies that are still usable. The practice spread to other objects: Donetsk state-owned plant of chemical materials died a hero's death; Butovskaya mine is next in turn, Stirol carving has begun, and the first transport with a non-ferrous metal was detained by the prosecutor's office last week - and this is just the beginning. Zasyadko mine completes the driving, the allegedly temporary closure of several mines that are waiting for the fate of the donor metal in the future is expected with the first of July", - he draws a picture of a total looting.

Alexander Khodakovsky is a former employee of the SBU, he betrayed the oath and from the first days of the Russian hybrid war against Ukraine became one of the leaders of the Donbass terrorists. He created and led the Vostok battalion. Currently, he is moved away from all official posts in the "DPR". Now he is in the confrontation with the so-called "head of the republic" Alexander Zakharchenko. He stands for an idea of Donbass accession to Russia, but his approach to this matter does not find understanding in the Russian Federation.
