The authorities of the so-called "LPR" have in fact recognized that they are often not able to sell their goods in Russia and have adopted a decision on "duty-free" import of unsold output to the occupied territory. This is stated in the press center of the fake "State Customs Committee of the LPR".

Innovations are established by the "law" which has entered into force in the occupied territory of the Luhansk oblast on June 25.

"In connection with the reorientation of sales markets to Russia, the number of exported goods had certainly increased. The enterprises faced some problems. It happens that the product leaves the LPR, reaches the customer, and the latter refuses it for some reason. And our entrepreneur is forced to take his product back. In such cases, that is, in cases of reimport, the import customs duty will not be levied now", – Andrey Karpak, self-described as the chairman of the "LPR State Customs Committee", explained the essence of the "law".

It is revealing that the failure of the "LPR" entrepreneurs to sell their products in Russia is called "force majeure" in the message of the "customs committee". In fact, force majeure includes unpredictable events (for example, a natural disaster, the outbreak of hostilities or an epidemic) that does not depend on the will of the parties involved in the transaction, but leads to the impossibility of fulfilling contractual obligations.
