The authorities of the "DPR" faced great challenges in launching machine-building plants stolen from Ukrainian owners. The so-called acting Minister of Industry and Trade Alexei Granovsky was forced to admit that in an interview to the separatist media.

"In fact, our machine building industry is a big problem for me: the highest bets are always made on this sector, because it produces a finished product with a large added value. It is one thing to sell metal and it is quite another matter to sell ready made products from this metal. There is a huge problem with mechanical engineering", - he stated.

Granovsky noted with surprise that the real owners of Horlivsky and Donetsk machine-building plants had removed all the technical documentation.

In addition, the "minister" said that "all the technical personnel (of the plants – OstroV) together with the management were not at the enterprises, but were located and worked outside the factory territory".

"The blueprints, according to which the equipment was manufactured, were just given to the factory workers", - he complained, that they could not steal those blueprints.

"Our task now is to develop all the blueprints, all the documentation, and to set up a sales market", - he said.

"But most importantly, we must issue certificates for the products we manufacture and provide the entire subsequent service. There are a lot of problems, but we will gradually solve them", - Granovsky promised.
