The "DPR" militants do not allow observers from the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to the occupied seaside village of Sjedove. This is stated in the report of the OSCE SMM.

On June 18, the armed members of the "DPR" at a checkpoint located north-west of Sjedove village (106 km south of Donetsk) "did not let pass the SMM patrol to the settlement, having stated that they had received orders not to let the observers through the checkpoint and that this area is closed for foreigners".

The Mission team saw civil vehicles passing through the checkpoint. The SMM informed the JCCC about this.

Residents of the occupied part of the Donetsk oblast were outraged earlier that militants set up checkpoints and introduced tightened security at the entrance to one of the places for summer holidays on the territory uncontrolled by the Ukrainian authorities - Sjedove village.
