Ukrnafta appealed to the Hague court with a lawsuit against Russia

The major Ukrnafta oil company appealed to the International Court of Arbitration in Hague (Permanent Court of Arbitration, The Netherlands) with a lawsuit against Russia. This is stated in a notice on the website of the court – informs Ukrainski novyny.

Ukrnafta refers to the regulations of UNCITRAL (United Nations Commission on International Trade Law) and the agreement between the governments of Russia and Ukraine as of November 27th,1998 on the protection of investments.

Details of the lawsuit are not specified on the website of the court.
