The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv elected pre-trial restriction for the former head of the Kharkiv United State Tax Inspectorate of the Main Directorate of the SFS in the Kharkiv oblast, Andriy Kryvopalov, in the form of a personal guarantee. This is reported by the 112 Ukraina.

"Andriy Kryvopalov was released under a personal guarantee, although the prosecutor's office asked for either two months of arrest or USD 190 thousand bail. According to the prosecutor's office, the state suffered losses totaling more than USD 13.3 million", - the correspondent said.

This is the sixth suspect released taxman who was detained during a carefully prepared special operation of the security forces.

As previously reported, on May 24, 2300 law enforcement officers conducted 454 searches in 15 oblasts and detained 23 current and former heads of the tax service.

The suspects were taken to Kyiv to elect a pre-trial restriction, but some of the detainees were released by court order (ex-head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Taxes and Charges in the Luhansk oblast Oleksandr Antipov, ex-head of the tax service of the Poltava oblast Volodymyr Zadorozhny, ex-heads of tax inspections of Podilsky and Styvatoshynsky districts of Kyiv Oleksiy Yaroshenko and Yuriy Mostipan). The former head of the Darnytsia tax inspection Yuriy Kravchenko was also released with the condition of wearing an electronic bracelet and making USD 38 thousand bail. The former head of the state tax administration in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Kostiantyn Tsirkun was released under a personal guarantee.
