Rada has prematurely terminated the deputy powers of the People's Deputy Artemenko

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has voted for the early termination of the deputy powers of the People's Deputy of Ukraine Andriy Artemenko, - the correspondent of OstroV reports.

244 people's deputies have voted for the relevant decision.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had earlier signed a decree on the termination of Ukrainian citizenship of Andriy Artemenko after it became known that the People's Deputy has Canadian citizenship.

Artemenko was in the thick of a scandal in February 2017 when it became known that he had handed over the plan of settlement of the conflict in Ukraine to the administration of President of the USA Donald Trump. He provided for the holding of an all-Ukrainian referendum on the lend lease of the Crimea to Russia for a period from 50 to 100 years.

After that, Artemenko was expelled from the Radical Party, according to which he had got into the parliament.
