The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko insists on full admission of the OSCE to the occupied part of Donbass and abolition of fake "elections" in the area. He said this in the telephone conversation in the "Norman format", - informs the press service of the head of state.

It is noted that during the conversation Poroshenko informed about the escalation in Donbass last week and stressed the inadmissibility of the failure of the Minsk agreements by Russia and pro-Russian militants.

"The Head of Ukraine stressed that the OSCE should have full access to all the occupied territories and to the border. He also stressed the need for the withdrawal of all occupation forces from the territory of Ukraine. Interlocutors agreed on the need for a complete ceasefire. They called to activate work of the Tripartite Liaison Group on the modalities of the local elections in some regions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions at the beginning of 2016. The Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) should be involved in the work. In this context, the President stressed the need to abolish fake "elections" which were appointed by pro-Russian militants,"- said the statement.

It is reported that the President once again stressed that the elections should be held in Donbass with the participation of Ukrainian parties, Ukrainian media, Central Election Commission, international observers and in compliance with all standards of the OSCE ODIHR.

"In order to maintain order and security during the electoral process, the President of Ukraine proposed to establish special mission of the European Union on the territory of the occupied regions of Donbass to keep peace in the framework of the Common Security and Defence Policy of the EU", - said the statement.

In addition, Poroshenko noted the need for immediate admission to the occupied territories of all international humanitarian agencies, in particular the International Committee of the Red Cross and Doctors without Borders.

Interlocutors agreed on the next meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the "Norman Quartet" at the end of January, 2016.

The President Poroshenko called to let all Ukrainian hostages go home, including those who are illegally detained in Russia, in particular Nadezhda Savchenko and Oleg Sentsov.

The President also drew attention to the destructive trade and economic policy of Russia in relation to Ukraine.
