Crimean Tatars will appeal to international organizations for the protection of their rights. This was stated by MP of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Refat Chubarov today at a press conference, RBK-Ukraina reports.

"At the world congress of the Crimean Tatars we approved the text of the appeal to the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the European Parliament... These are the expectations of the Crimean Tatars from these organizations... This is a subscription campaign that will begin here (in Ukraine - Ed.)", - R.Chubarov said.

It is noted that the volunteers of the subscription campaign will collect signatures for the creation of a tribunal to investigate crimes against the Crimean Tatars, call for reaction to Russian aggression and restore Ukraine's sovereignty, in particular, the return of the Crimea.

"We plan to collect 1 million signatures, after that, according to the developed mechanism, we will transfer these signatures to the mentioned organizations", - Chubarov explained.
