State Border Guard Service fulfilled all the tasks for preparation for the implementation of a visa-free regime with the EU

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has fulfilled all the tasks for preparation for the implementation of a visa-free regime with the European Union, - the press service of the State Border Guard Service reports.

"The State Border Guard Service has fulfilled the tasks of equipping checkpoints with biometric control means and has provided access to the Interpol databases as part of preparation for the implementation of the EU visa-free regime for Ukraine", - the first deputy chairman of the State Border Guard Service Vasyl Servatiuk noted during a briefing at the Boryspil airport.

It is noted that the staff of the State Border Guard Service has actually implemented more than 3.4 thousand operations since the connection to the Interpol database - from August 28, 2015, in particular, 2600 people, 147 stolen vehicles and more than 700 stolen or lost passport documents were found.
