6 people were killed as a result of "friendly" firing between militants – intelligence

As a result of firing between militants in Donbass 6 people were killed and nine soldiers of the 9th separate motorized rifle regiment 1 AK were injured. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (MDI) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (MDU).

"Another loss of enemy personnel is found out. As a result of "friendly firing" six soldiers were killed and nine soldiers of the 9th separate motorized rifle regiment 1 AK were injured", - said the statement.

According to the report, the situation in the zone of the antiterrorist operation remains complicated. Fire exposure to the forces of the ATO are going on.
On December 28th this year there were 33 shellfires from small arms, grenade launchers and 82 mm mortars, among them: 16 - Luhansk, Mayorsk, Novgorod, Shumy (Slavyansk direction); 15 - Avdeyevka, Opytnoye, Peski (Donetsk direction), two - Chermalyk (Mariupol direction). There was a military clash near Zaitsevo.

The representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission are provided with the information about the presence of the banned by Minsk agreements weapons - mortars and artillery systems in the area of Pervomaisk and Gorlovka.
During the day, the enemy forces were concentrated on: the supply of arms and military equipment, building logistics of units 1 and 2 AK; engineering equipment area in the direction of Donetsk; establishing hidden control of military; reconnaissance and preparation of subversive groups to intensify subversive activities in the rear of the ATO forces, as well as setting up production of armaments.
