The average salary of the "DPR" residents is three times lower than in Ukraine – WFP report

The average salary, which is offered by employment centers on the territory of Donetsk region occupied by the militants, is about three times lower than in the general in Ukraine - about 1,600 hryvnia while in Ukraine 4500 hryvnia. This is evidenced by the report of the World Food Programme (WFP) in October-November 2015.

"The average salary offered in the so-called "DPR" according to the data of the local employment center is approx. 4400 rubles (1.6 thousand UAH), while the average salary in Ukraine is 4.5 thousand UAH", - stated the report.

WFP information, collected during focus groups in the uncontrolled territories, testifies to the long delays of almost all social payments.
