The General of the Russian army, who led the capture of Crimea, died
The deputy chief of Airborne Forces staff, Major-General Alexander Shushukin, who led the capture of the Crimea, died. The death of the military is confirmed by the Ryazan military school in Russia.
52-year-old A. Shushukin is reported to have died on December 27th, 2015.
At the same time, the adviser of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Stanislav Rechinsky claims that Shushukin led the capture of Crimea in 2014.
"Comrade writes that the Deputy Chief of the Airborne Forces Staff, Major-General Alexander Shushukin, 52, died from a blood clot in the heart on December 27th, 2015. He led the airborne troops of Russia in the Crimean operations. Before that there was the operation in South Ossetia. Such is the "irony of fate" - wrote Rechinsky on Facebook.
