Ukrainians think the dollar is 3.5 times more credible than the euro - survey

More than 40% of Ukrainians trust money savings in US dollars. This is evidenced by the data of the survey conveyed by Research & Branding Group, - informs zn.ua.

It is noted that as of February 2017, the US dollar is the currency most trusted by the residents of Ukraine. In this currency, in the opinion of the relative majority of Ukrainians (41%), it is the most profitable and safe to keep your money savings. The dollar is followed by the euro (12%) and the hryvnia (8%). 16% of Ukrainians do not trust any of the currencies.

In comparison with the results of a similar survey conducted in September 2016, there is only a slight decrease in the popularity of the dollar (by 5%). The research was conducted by R&B company on February 1-10, 2016 among 1800 people all over Ukraine except for the Crimea and the occupied territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. The sampling error was ±2.4% with a confidence level of P=0.95.
