The average wage in the occupied territory of the Donetsk oblast turned out to be 2.3 times lower than in Ukraine even according to the "official" data. This is evidenced by the data of the report of the "Institute for Economic Research" located in Donetsk", - the website 62 reports.

According to the calculations of the "IER", the wages fund fell by $274 million in 2015 in comparison with 2014 and amounted to $208 million. The average number of full-time employees at enterprises has decreased for 133 thousand people — 146 thousand people are employed. The average wage of a full-time employee decreased by $24 and amounted to $119.

As of January 2016, the amount of arrears of wages amounted to $17.4 million, of which the DPR's arrears are $5 million, of the past years — $6.8 million. The arrears of the welfare assistance reached $5.6 million.

"According to the Main Directorate of Statistics, the average wage in the Donetsk oblast in the territory under Ukraine's control amounted to $264 in December 2016", - the website reminds.
