"Seized" Donetsk brewery was headed by Dmitry Mirenkov, who previously worked as the head of the brewery Efes in Rostov-on-Don.

Sarmat Donetsk brewery was built and launched in 1962. In 2012, the plant was acquired by the holding Efes Breweries International, part of the Turkish Anadolu Group. With the outbreak of hostilities in the Donbass, the company was practically cut off from its plant in Donetsk. The enterprise did not work for two and a half years. The occupation "authorities" said that they were introducing their "external management" at the brewery.

On Saturday, March 18, the separatist media reported that the leader of the "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko launched the Donetsk Brewery. At the same time, Dmitry Mirrenkov became a director of the seized company.

Online search showed that you can find only one Dmitry Mirenkov associated with the brewing business. On a number of websites he is presented as the head of the production of the brewery Efes in Rostov-on-Don, which is controlled by Efes Breweries International.

Users of social networks are puzzled how the plant managed to start producing beer 18 days after the "introduction of external management" (it was introduced on March 1 - Ed.), if the product should mature for several weeks. The residents of the occupied territory are also interested where does the seized plant receive raw materials from.
