Ukrainian party has a strong evidence base against the Russian Federation in the currently considered case in the International Court of Justice in The Hague, and the arguments of the Russian Federation are absurd. This was stated by the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Pavlo Petrenko, - Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"As for the hearings which currently take place in the International Court of Justice, I believe that Ukraine has more than enough evidence of violations of the convention on the prohibition of terrorism financing and prohibition of discrimination on the part of the Russian Federation", - the minister said to journalists in Kyiv on Thursday, answering the question about the evidence base and prospects for considering this case.

At the same time, P.Petrenko called presentation of arguments by the Russian party a "Theatre of the Absurd".

"I am convinced that the hard work of hundreds of specialists, experts and lawyers of the last three years will bring the result - the restoration of justice, the confirmation that there will be responsibility for any violations and crimes committed by those or other persons, whatever positions they occupy in Moscow. I am convinced of this", - the head of the Ministry of Justice concluded.
