The Cabinet has removed Roman Nasirov from the post of the Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. As OstroV correspondent reports, the decision was approved at the Cabinet’s meeting today.

"I suggest suspending Roman Nasirov from his duties as the Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for the period of investigation. It is in the interests of Roman Nasirov that the investigation is held as unbiased and impartial as possible", - Finance Minister Oleksandr Danylyuk said.

The Cabinet also endorsed the proposition that during the investigation the performance of duties of the Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine is entrusted to Myroslav Prodan.

As reported, NABU and SAP agents arrived at Feofania hospital to serve an indictment for criminal offence against Ukraine's chief taxman Roman Nasirov. Nasirov is suspected of abuse of office and embezzlement of public funds in the amount of over USD 74 million.
