Ministry of Energy initiates a state of emergency in the energy sector. Today this was announced by the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Ihor Nasalik at a meeting of the Crisis Energy Staff, - the correspondent of OstroV reports.

"The Ministry will initiate a state of emergency in the energy sector", - he said.

According to him, it will allow to shift to manual control system, so it will be possible to maximally load the stations with gas groups of coal, as well as to reduce the anthracite coal consumption to 20 tons per day.

"We must understand that we will move on to rolling blackouts, because we can not cover the peaks," – Nasalik added.

The Minister noted that in the coming hours he will make an order for the introduction of a temporary state of emergency in the energy sector for the consideration of the Cabinet of Ministers.
