German Ambassador was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for explanations concerning the statement about the election in the occupied Donbass

German Ambassador to Ukraine Ernst Reichel was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to provide explanations concerning his statements about the possibility of holding the election in the uncontrolled territories of Donbass before the withdrawal of the Russian troops. This was stated in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, - Interfax-Ukraine informs.

"German Ambassador was invited to the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine to provide explanations concerning his statements, published in an interview to RBC-Ukraine", - the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

As previously reported, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Ukraine Ernst Reichel stated that the holding of election in the occupied territory of Donbass is possible before the withdrawal of the Russian military units from there.
