The heads of the factions agreed on re-elections in Krivoy Rog

The chairmen of parliamentary factions agreed to support the law on re-election in Krivoy Rog. The leader of the PPB Solidarity faction Yuriy Lutsenko said that in the VR sidelines, - reports Ukrainska Pravda.

"The law will be adopted in the same form in which it was refistered", - said Lutsenko.

He also noted that Yuriy Vilkul will serve as mayor until the elections on March 27th.

When asked whether the law will be voted today, Lutsenko answered: "I think so. Now one group is talking to the Prime Minister. As I understand it, we can vote on amendments and on the whole."

At the same time, the deputy didn’t explain about what changes he was talking.

As previously reported, the draft law №3613 on the appointment of re-elections of the mayor of Krivoy Rog was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday. It is proposed to appoint special elections on March 27th, 2016.

People's deputy of the Samopomich faction E.Sobolev said that their faction would not support any decision in the Parliament before the adoption of this law.

The information published on the CEC website says that the representative of Opposition Bloc Yuriy Vilkul won the second round of elections of the mayor of Krivoy Rog, held on November 15th. The candidate of Samopomich Yuriy Milobog filed complaints about violations during the election process, criminal proceedings were opened on the facts of falsifications.

The difference between the candidates was 752 votes (0.42% of voters), Yu. Milobog won 6 out of 7 districts. The residents of Krivoy Rog, who disagree with the results of the mayoral election, demanded the annulment of the decision made by the City Electoral Commission. However, Chairman of the CEC Michael Ohendovsky said that the CEC has no reason to doubt the results of the elections.

Temporary investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada on the violations during voting on the election of the mayor of Krivoy Rog recommended the appointment of special elections.
